  • childhood days


    These days im so obsessed with cleaning and clearing my room. Trying to get my room in order and make space for all my new things that will hopefully be arriving very soon. Right now ive got a new set of drawers and another cupboard on the way,all empty and ready for my things!Oh malshipping, where are you with my boxes?Im praying everyday that my boxes of clothes,handbags,shoes and books will arrive safely!

    Anyway whilst clearing my stuff,i found some of pollypockets.Was anyone as crazy over them last time as i was?I gave away all my barbies,the house and all the clothes but i kept these babies because to be honest,i find them so cute and pretty!



    awww.all the pretty colours!
    and they dont make pollypockets like these anymore.nowadays,the polly pockets all come slightly bigger and all the little dolls have enlarged heads( must be the bratz influence)
    And also stumbled upon an entire album of photographs of growing up.Must be one of the advantages of being the first kid. Everything is documented!Some baby pictures coming up,probably the first and last time you'll ever see them here lol!I just like looking at it over and over again,its amazing how fast time flies by!

    and i remember that table,that was my cough*study table.i used to sit there and learn all my alphabets and numbers in both eng and malay!

    grr notice hw i get darker over the years?its all those swimming/badminton/taekwando lessons thats why!!

    its impossible to believe that that tiny thing lying there has now grown up to be the giant that he is right now lol!

    is the smell of my new shimmering lotion from Loccitane. It smells absolutely heavenly!

    Anyway hello!I dont know what is keeping me busy these days but I seem to have something new to do everyday.Since i got back, i have this to-do list stuck up on my board with all the things I have to get done and I think im making good progress with it!Im also keeping busy with my masters paper,received my draft from london in the post the other day. Trying to do as much as possible before i start work next month and its quite fun.Think it helps a little bit that its roughly the same subject area as my undergrad dissertation and that once again,I have an extremely supportive supervisor.

    Met up with my favourite girls for dinner at 1utama the other day. It was such a nice meetup and ive really missed them all so much.

    and speaking of it,ive been hunting for a necklace with a birdcage charm for god knows how long!

    Yesterday was a very funny day for me. I dont think i can re-explain the whole thing again but lets just say it ,my kembara breaking down  on the way there, mum scratching and denting her mers in the carpark  and eventually, a massive shopping spree at club 21's warehouse sale at bvillage 2.LOL.The sale was madness but fulfilling.Managed to grab a number of pretty pieces for work from ck and ax.Then did a bit shopping elsewhere before we headed back home.

    Ooo and i know clp results were out today.  A big big big congratulations to all my friends who made it and of course those who got a conditional pass!!All the best for your resit in 3 weeks time!And to those that didnt pull thru,please dont give up.Keep working hard and im sure you'll pull through next year.

    And also,we just received news that one of my brother's got the     Help School Achievers Scholarship for his Alevels next year!Interview was a success!My god the amount is so.much.more than what  I received for my  Sam in Taylors. Anyway congrats brother dear,im so proud of you and i love you!!All the best for spm this year and also best of luck to my other brother who has pmr in 2 days time!

  • life is a maze and love is a riddle

     
    Just got back from kl and im glad i missed the heavy downpour thats happening right now. Why must Malaysia either be burning hot or raining heavily?Cant we just have normal decent weather please!

    Ive finally done my share of job interviews and now it all comes down to making a decision.I made the decision this morning and im happy to say that i think its a pretty good one too. Now the question is when do i start? nov/dec/jan?Ive got my hands full with llm but at the same time,im quite excited at the prospect of working. But also on the other hand,im quite enjoying my carefree days like these!Waiting for a sign. But please come soon.lol.

    Yesterday i brought home an entire bag worth of goodies and trinkets.Lotss of pretty earrings and clips wowee.Its funny because when you're in uk you think the stuff there are cheap when on sale but now that im back home,everything is still soo much cheaper even when its not on sale. Some stuff at least.-_-

    Cant wait to meet up with the girls tomorrow.Am hoping it takes place and that I can make it!

    its so funny how far we've come.seems like just yesterday we were struggling in year 1 law and now,we're all about to be practising lawyers.woohoo!

    Btw,am i the only one that is so hooked on to lenka's the show?Shes so cute and the song is so catchy,fun but at the same time,with a very profound meaning behind it.

    Its definitely been a very good week and Ive enjoyed every moment of it.

    I went through a cross stitch phase a long long long time ago and did this for the house.cant remember how old this is but the yellow stains definitely indicates something -_-

    But on a very sad note,just received news that one of my highschool teachers recently passed away.
    She was so very young.
    Rest in peace dear Miss Marlina.

    Am i the only one that feels that life is seriously revolving around food these days? But then again, im eating smaller portions now than when I was in London so its all good right?



    banana leaf rice last friday. and NOOOOO of course i did not finish everything!

    red seems to be the in colour for raya this season because the duit raya packets we received were in red!

    The food at the open house was just so good!                  

    Its the second day of raya and im foreseeing cough*, more food!
    And today, we are also going shopping for new furniture for my room yay!In anticipation of my boxes of stuff that will be arriving.

    Im feeling on top of the world!
      
    Yesterday needless to say, I was scared shitless waiting for my results. But it was great having the support of my family and friends. I love being home and I don’t know what I’ll do without them.
